Gas 3-Phase Generators
Three-phase gas generators are machines that are used to generate power in the
event of a power shortage or in serving as an emergency power source. Gas
generators are also used in remote areas or construction sites where they
have no electrical power supply. Gas generator applications vary from
businesses, houses, townships, hospitals and hotels.
Three-phase gas generators are probably the most
common type of fuel in generators and can be inexpensive and readily
available. Although gas prices are constantly fluctuating, gas still
remains a relatively inexpensive fuel in comparison to diesel,
propane and natural gas.
Gas generators usually operate 6,000 to 10,000 hours before they begin
breaking down, because they are built on a lighter duty gasoline engine
block. Gas units burn hotter, so you will generally see a somewhat
shorter life of the gas units than the diesel units.
Some of the Problems with Gas Generators are:
- Gasoline has a relatively short shelf life;
approximately six months.
- Gasoline is highly inflammable.
- Storing gasoline for long durations can be
extremely dangerous.
- A gas generator usually requires frequent
maintenance.
- Gasoline forms gum deposits especially in cold
weather.
- If a gasoline generator is not run often, it can
cause problems in fuel filters and carburetors.

After all that has been shared, a gas generator is
designed to provide ease of use, reliable and safe portable power for
when you need it most. Especially in times of residential emergencies, a
gasoline generator is, without a doubt, your most inexpensive, reliable
source of portable power.
